Arwen Smit believes in the transformational power of decentralised technologies to change our economic and political systems. As the EMEA lead of Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative (MOBI) Arwen also advocates identity is one of the key building blocks in creating this new future. 

MOBI is a global smart mobility non-profit consortium established to accelerate adoption and promote standards in blockchain, distributed ledgers, and related technologies for the benefit of human mobility. Representing over 70% of the mobility sector, MOBI works with private and public bodies to support mobility services that are more efficient, affordable, greener, safer and less congested. 

An international speaker, Arwen Smit has been featured on TEDx, Wired, the European Commission and the European Space Agency. She is currently writing a book on reimaging data privacy for the 21st century.
